I don't feel like much of a photographer, but these are a few images where I feel like I got a little bit luck and got some decent shot. The Uke picture was an image I used for a project in my Visual Media class semester. I used the macro function on my camera to focus on the gold wording, then moved into position. I used the same technique for the Modern/Classical Music shot. My two nieces was taken very quickly just using the automatic selection on my camera. The two girls had both fallen asleep and I had to act quick before either of them stirred. The other two shots, Temple and Lane's First hours were taken with my Iphone at moments where I had forgotten my camera. I was just glad I got some decent shots in.
Craig, for someone who "doesn't feel like much of a photographer", I would say you are off to a real good start! I really enjoyed "The Uke", the photo was taken from a very unique angle and I like the light reflecting off of the top head of the guitar. I really like the picture with your two nieces as well, it is really cute and the love the position of their hands. "Modern/Classical Music" was a creative idea, the photo has great flow because of the cord and the lines from the sheet music. My only suggestion in that photo is trying to get the cord in focus as well or in stead of the Ipod. Great job I enjoyed looking at all your photos and I am excited to see what else you come up with.
ReplyDeleteThe hands picture is so precious. You really seemed to capture the moment, which can be hard some times. I also like the angle of the guitar and the iphone with the music.
